The Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CTE) is a highly regarded program for aspiring and working ESL teachers, that emphasizes communicative, content-based, and student-centered learning. The CTE is awarded after successful completion of a structured curriculum of five courses, including a minimum of 30 hours of student teaching.
